Declassified documents

From 2012 to 2026, I was employed as a historian on the Policy Studies Team within the Office of the Historian at the U.S. Department of State. In that capacity, I wrote dozens of papers on the history of U.S. foreign policy, chiefly on U.S. relations with Sub-Saharan Africa. When I left the Department in 2026, I placed a series of Mandatory Declassification Review/Freedom of Information Act requests for the papers that I wrote. As these papers are released by the Department, I will post them here.
